For this project we knew our client quite well. They have a strong architectural leaning and prefer a pared back, timeless aesthetic.
This made the gun barrel leg (which has iterations from every period) an obvious choice.
To make the table as practical as possible for dining, we positioned the legs centrally under the table, and dispensed with any stretchers.
The dark fumed finish gives the finished table an air of age and permanence.
