A pair of bespoke turned side tables

These were a challange, mainly due to their sheer bulk.

Many days were spent machining small pieces of timber, before many days were spent glueing them together, to eventually form very large sections of wood.

Next came the turning – they were pushing the limits of what we could put on the lathe! Once turned, these beautiful things were whitewashed and oiled, ready to be used as bedside tables.
