The rich, naturally aged colour of early oak.
Our lightly worn oak timber is naturally fumed, before being hand-finished with a blend of naturally-derived oils and waxes, which offers protection while allowing the timber to evolve and develop a rich patina. Please see our care guide which explains how you can enhance the beauty and value of your piece over time.
Our fumed pieces are made from a single log of oak to give the best consistency of colour. The rich chestnut colour of dark fumed oak runs deep into the timber, so the colour is scratch resistant and easily repairable.
Our high-quality FSC oak has natural variations of colour, grain and character features which are intrinsic to your piece looking honest and authentic. Please see the imagery opposite (below on mobile) for a more complete picture.
A selection of tiles shows the variation within our dark fumed oak finish.
